My career started in publishing — I was a publicity assistant at Little, Brown in New York, writing press releases, coordinating author appearances, and working with reviewers to elevate new titles. From there, I moved into magazine work: I was Graydon Carter’s assistant at Vanity Fair, a reporter at LIFE, and editor for This Old House and Martha Stewart Living. Over the years, I’ve written about home design, renovation, food, and travel for a wide range of publications.

But more than just writing or editing, I help leaders clarify their ideas and shape them into powerful content strategies. I’ve ghostwritten op-eds, directed event coverage, and built out content programs that support executive thought leadership. I think deeply about how individual pieces fit into a broader narrative — and how that narrative supports business and brand goals.

Outside of work, you’ll find me knitting (check out my work at romyknits.com), reading, walking in the woods, or collaborating in the kitchen as my husband experiments with new recipes.

If you’re looking for an editor-strategist who can help you shape your voice, build a thought leadership platform, or design a content roadmap that aligns with your bigger vision, let’s talk.
